Good shepherd Services' 4th annual Gala
"I worked closely with Sandra as she directed every aspect of what culminated a spectacular fundraising event. During the three months prior to the gala, we engaged board members and their networks, resulting in a record number of new sponsors, donors and attendees. Thanks to [her] hands-on and deeply caring efforts, our event was successful on many levels—including fundraising, attendance and attendee engagement. Most importantly, Sandra successfully conveyed the GSS mission and key messages to the audience through the production of a compelling multimedia presentation and live program."

The Baltimore Station's Stars, stripes & chow: chili edition
"Sandra was a critical player as we crafted and implemented a new fundraiser in 2015 for The Baltimore Station. She recruited strong talent for the planning committee, played a key role for every lead-meeting and lobbied tirelessly for sponsorships and in-kind donations. Sandra is the consummate champion for our organization and this fully translated into the success of the inaugural Stars, Stripes and Chow. We surpassed goals and were able to create an annual hallmark event for The Station--and event that Sandra continues to support as a lead committee member."
-Christie Walsh-Myers, Board VP, The Baltimore Station; Event Chair, Stars, Stripes & Chow
The Baltimore station's Silver celebration of second chances
"As Chair of The Baltimore Station’s Silver Celebration of Second Chances gala, Sandra was instrumental in defining our marketing and promotional strategies which led to an overwhelming successful event, not only on the fundraising side, but also with the number of guests who attended the event. Her attention to detail and creativity are like no other. She is also not afraid to roll up her sleeves and jump right in with the rest of the planning committee during pre-event planning, set up and tear down. Our gala was a truly magical evening thanks to Sandra’s leadership, commitment, passion and business acumen. The next time we do a gala or other similar event, Sandra will be the first person I reach out to."

Habitat for humanity's Habitown challenge
"During my first year as CEO of Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, I charged Sandra with creating an all-new signature event that would effectively reflect our organization's important role in the community. She was tasked with creating a major-scale outdoor event demonstrating the importance of corporate and nonprofit partnerships throughout the Greater Baltimore area.
As a strategist, Sandra set about forming a focus group that included some of my most trusted advisors and event production experts. Weeks of collaboration and months of planning resulted in The HabiTown Challenge, an event where corporations partnered with their nonprofit of choice to build a structure for the HabiTown community. Soon, we had commitments for 15 structures--a library, a firehouse, a school, a mobile medical site, a lighthouse, a children's playhouse and many others. Food trucks, a photo booth, and live bands helped create excitement as public attendance continued to grow at the Inner Harbor event site. Each partner team had four hours to complete their structure prior to judging as the audience cheered them on. At the end of the day, celebrity judges awarded cash prizes, including "The People's Choice Award."
Habitat for Humanity far exceeded our event goals in terms of partners, participants, volunteers and--most importantly--fundraising. The HabiTown Challenge surpassed the most money raised to date for any Habitat of the Chesapeake event. It was an event that made us proud on many levels, thanks to Sandra and her team ."

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY'S women build events
Women Build Week, an initiative of Habitat for Humanity International, is an annual program designed to take action against poverty housing in local communities through empowering women. Each year, women volunteers and prospective Habitat homeowners come together for a week of on-site building at various Habitat home sites under construction. Throughout the year leading up to Women Build Week, regional Habitat organizations host a variety of fundraising activities, sponsorship programs and hands-on construction skills and safety workshops. For several years, this program was under the direction of Sandra Erbe and her team. The team worked closely with talented leadership partnership of Women Build Co-Chairs Stacy Summers and Nedesha Coleman and hundreds of volunteers.
